Phraai Writer is a two-part writing workspace—Canvas for catching ideas, Editor for turning them into finished work. It’s built for speed, privacy, and flow: select text anywhere on the web, save it with the page title and URL, then drop those clippings straight into your draft with zero context-switching.

Why it’s different

• Clip → write, instantly. A tiny Chrome extension saves selected text (plus title + URL) to local storage. Your clippings appear in the extension popup and inside the editor’s bottom-left Clips button—open, preview, copy, or delete with one click.
• An editor made for focus. Clean typography, headings, lists, bold/italic/underline/strike/code, word count, reading time, theme toggle, exports (HTML / text), print, and fullscreen. Smart keyboard shortcuts everywhere.

How it works

1. Save sources – Highlight anything on a webpage → right-click “Save selection to Clippings” (or use the extension popup).
2. Draft – Open the Editor, click Clips, expand a card to see the full text, copy with ⧉, or open the source in a new tab.
3. Polish & ship – Style your draft, export to HTML or plain text, or print.
